In April 9, 1989 USSR military forces, after continues demonstrations demanding independence of Georgia from Soviet Union, attacked peaceful protesters officially killing 20 and wounding or poisoning hundreds of them. This website is dedicated first of all to April 9 events visual memory and its rethinking as a historical milestone in Georgia's and world's newest history.
